Bach Week Festival Announces Subscription, 2008 Festival Program.
Richard Webster, Bach Week Festival Music Director, has been involved with the festival since its inception in 1974.
Tickets are on sale now for Bach Week Festival's 2008 season, taking place Friday, May 2, Sunday, May 4, and Friday, May 9, at the Music Institute of Chicago, 1490 Chicago Avenue, Evanston. This year's schedule focuses solely on the music of J.S. Bach , and features a Candlelight performance at 10:15 p.m., Friday, May 9. The main concerts all begin at 7:30 p.m.
We've changed prices this year: $100 buys a subscription to all three main concerts, plus the Candlelight Concert. That's a $30 savings over single-ticket adult pricing for all four events. Single tickets are $35 for adults, $25 for seniors, $20 for students, $10 for children ages 12 and under, and $25 (all ages) for the Candlelight performance.
